Yes.
Since the end of May 2026, the internet domain paint.net has finally become the property of dotPDN LLC, which manages the development of the Paint.NET software. And this automatic redirection was set up on the domain and the subdomains getpaint.net around the beginning of June 2026.

For the main plugin compatibility versions, any versions not offered before 3.0 won’t be provided. I’ve already added the essentials. As for the rest, it has become impossible to find reliable executables. When in doubt, I won’t put any older versions than the ones already on the site.
But for plugin compatibility from version 3.0 onwards, here are the 3 missing versions:

Not here for a long time (it's 2026 at the time of this response).
It's for two reasons:
If I ever do it, it’ll be under a few conditions, all of them non-negotiable for me:
While waiting for the very unlikely arrival of plugins on this site, I already invite you to get/see them on the official Paint.NET forum:

SHA-256 is available in the latest version (though no longer maintained since 2016 or 2017) of Hashtab (version 6.0.0.34). It's for Windows (and Mac OS if you look hard enough). It works very well with Windows 11. For Linux, or if you prefer software that's still maintained, there are competing programs to Hashtab.
Although Paint.NET only runs on Windows (emulations haven't been able to start the software since version 4.0), this kind of software can be useful for other downloads.
Regarding Hashtab and its closest competitors, this adds a tab in the detailed file properties, directly in the operating system interface (by right-clicking on the desired file and then Properties).
